Adrienne has had pets all her life, including cats, dogs, mice, birds, fish and even an injured owl and a bat for a while. There were always more animals than people in her family.
She started her career in IT but was not happy. Then moved to insurance but was not happy. She spent some time at home raising her children and when they were old enough she decided she needed to go back to work. She wanted a job she loved. An opportunity to attend pet grooming school changed everything – She loved it!
Adrienne went to grooming school in Seattle in 2004. Since then she has groomed at a corporate pet store, a private grooming salon and a veterinary practice in the United States. She attends seminars every year to continue her education and is studying for a Master Groomer Certification.
When she moved back to Vancouver, she found the perfect fit at Royal City Paws Pet Centre. Our grooming department has won Best in New West three years in a row and she couldn’t be happier with the relationships she has built with her customers and their pets.
She would like everyone to know that she will always put the safety and well being of your pet first. Patience and calm energy is the key to earning a dog’s trust and when they trust you, anything is possible.
Even the worst day can be transformed by puppy kisses.
